Interview With Jimmy Don Homes On The Fixer Upper Podcast

Hey folks, I guess you have figured out by now that Gary and I took another road trip to Waco, Texas.

This time we went to Crawford, Texas to interview Jimmy Don Holmes, and boy oh boy was it a fun relaxing day!

If you are reading this, then the chances are that you know Jimmy Don as the great Metal Artist that creates inspirational metal signs for Joanna Gaines, star of the HGTV Fixer Upper TV show.

You can find his “Magnolia Market” exclusive collection only at Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Market in Waco, Tx. But, did you know Jimmy Don has his own creations at his retail store and website at

Jimmy Don shared with us about his brand new (opened Dec.’16) store and workroom, his craft, his wife, and his country life in this fun interview.

I hope you enjoy watching this episode of The Fixer Upper Podcast as much as I loved interviewing Jimmy Dom.

Thanks to Jimmy Don Holmes, the great Metal Artist, for spending the afternoon with us. Jimmy Don certainly is a good ole’ boy, and a pleasure to talk with. He will welcome you too if you pay a visit to JDH Iron Designs at 9685 Lone Star Parkway, in Valle Mills, Texas.

Now that I have started sharing with you on the blog I am receiving tips from vendors about things ahead of time.

One of these tips were about Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame, and her newest adventure into her own line of furniture and accessories.

It appears she is partnering with Standard Furniture for this her newest project.

I am a little short on time this morning, so I am just going to share the official press release that Standard Furniture released this morning. I knew you would want to know about this asap.

Standard Furniture Corp. is pleased to announce the debut of the new Magnolia Home Furnishings by Joanna Gaines line of furniture and accessories.

The new product launch will take place at the International Home Furnishings Market Oct. 17-21, in High Point, N.C. This home furnishings market is for wholesale dealers, with the products arriving in retail stores across the country beginning in January.

In May, Standard Furniture and Joanna Gaines entered into a long-term licensing agreement for a line of products to be marketed as “Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines.”
Magnolia Home will be a fully independent division of Standard Furniture Corporation, sharing limited operations such as warehousing and distribution.

Chip and Joanna are hosts of the HGTV show “Fixer Upper” and own and operate Magnolia Homes and Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas.

Magnolia Home will feature product designed exclusively by Joanna that embodies her lifestyle centering on home and family. Joanna Gaines’ style and designs will be reflected in every piece brought to market with her audience in mind. Todd Evans, Standard’s President says, “Joanna Gaines will bring an element to the furniture business that is unrivaled. Her design style and enthusiasm for creating a lifestyle that promotes home and family will resonate with people of all walks of life.”

“This is a dream come true for me,” Joanna Gaines said. “I have always wanted my style to be accessible and available to those looking for new design solutions for their homes.”

The Magnolia Home line will showcase furniture designs by Joanna Gaines in style genres of Primitive, Industrial, Boho, French Inspired, Farm and Traditional. It will include furnishings for every room of the home from living and bedroom areas to kitchen and bath. Magnolia Home will also include a full line of decorative accessories in her signature style to coordinate with her furniture collections.
