In this day of fast food, text messaging and cable television with hundreds of channels, we at Leland’s are here to help you meet your deadlines and provide stellar customer service. We recognize women are the ones with the buying power and they are multitasking their lives. We have seen many companies go out of business in these slower times and are certain that great customer service helps keep the doors open. We strive to make displays complete with wallpapers, borders and accessories so you can one-stop shop. We offer expedited shipping, and when truly in a hurry can ship in stock items same day. We have a staff decorator who can provide assistance with blinds and shutters, draperies and upholstery by appointment in your home. We also have the names of local wallpaper hangers whom we feel confident to highly recommend to complete your experience on a high note.
Bring your paint, tile and fabric samples to help match papers as there are many variations in color. Bring your basic room measurements, length of wall x height. It is highly recommended you order an additional roll of wallpapers and borders for any future repairs as die lots change often and papers discontinue every 3-5 years on average.
Manufacturer’s price wallpaper in single length rolls, and 90% are packaged in double length to cut down on waste (due to pattern repeat). Usually only high end designer papers can be ordered in single length rolls.
Special orders will have a restock fee of 25-30% charged by the manufacturer and shipping is NEVER refunded. Special orders generally take 10-14 business days unless it is a made-to-order product which takes 2-4 weeks.
If you’re not a do-it-yourselfer, we suggest a professional paper hanger. If your wallpaper store does not have one they can highly recommend, you should get references from previous jobs and check with your local Better Business Bureau before using one found in the yellow pages or on a website. Professional hangers should give free estimates including labor and materials, and a roll count for you to purchase from. A rule of thumb, your installation will cost you close to the price of your in stock wallpaper purchase. The going rate in the Dallas/Ft Worth area is $20-30 per single length roll with designer/specialty papers costing $35-45 per single length roll.
ALWAYS KEEP your labels from rolls with pattern and die lot information in case additional paper is needed. Color is very important and pattern numbers can be similar.

Back to school isn’t just about school clothes and supplies. Kids are a year older and their tastes have changed, so they want to redecorate their rooms. From rough riding cowboys and sports to flowers and purses, even camouflage in pink, the possibilities are endless. So take a look and get some ideas of what’s out there before you take them shopping. http://lelandswallpaper.com/boysNgirls.htm. For parents on an extra tight budget, we recommend wallpapers and borders that are in stock as retailers receive better pricing when they stock.
Don’t forget those school projects. Wallpapers make great backdrops, report covers and art supplies.
It’s the time of year for parents to move their students into the dorms. Colleges won’t allow you put permanent items on the walls, but that doesn’t mean decorating with your personal flair is out. New substrates make wallpapers removable without leaving residue behind. See a demonstration at http://www.easy-walls.com/livedemo.htm. Peel and stick is your friend.
For the student who wants everything college, there’s bedding, banners, clocks, etc in addition to wallpapers and borders. http://sportsdecorating.com/index.php?parent=5
